Fluval's customer service is the worst I have ever experienced.

I purchased 2 Fluval FX6 Canister Filters less than 6 weeks ago. One filter started making a rattling noise unlike the other filter which is quiet. I have exchanged emails with Fluvals customer support 4-5 times with suggestions on how to fix this issue. In one of my many emails from Fluval, I asked for detailed photos of my setup so they could see if I installed it correctly. (In between all this, customer service accidentally sent me a note meant for the manager asking for suggestions on how to deal with it)! In my penultimate email from Fluval, I was asked to send them the impeller and motor. I politely asked them how I could keep my tank if I sent them the main parts back. In the last email from Fluval I was told to buy a new impeller and motor and send them the old one (4-5 weeks old). They then have to inspect my original impeller and motor and see if I have damaged them and then and only then will they decide to give them a warranty. I will never buy anything else from them again. Buyers be careful. I've spent about $700 on two filters, plus a few hundred more on Fluval seals, carbon, etc, and that's the definitive answer they give me. It's about time Revain stepped in and stopped their products.
