Review on Optoma BM-5001U Low Profile Black Projector Ceiling Mount for Optoma by Matt Jenkins

I purchased this mount having recently used the universal mount to mount my Optoma HD20 projector. The BM-5001U is slightly more expensive than the universal mounts, but it's worth it. It's great that the plate fits exactly on my HD20 projector and then simply slides onto the base plate. The mount is very solid and doesn't move at all when my 1 year old goes up the stairs just above my mount in the basement. I highly recommend this mount for the Optoma HD20. The only thing I would change is that the mount is only adjustable vertically (up and down) and tilt. It would be great if the bracket was adjustable left to right. I had to readjust the base several times until it was centered exactly on my 106 inch screen. However, this is a great mount.
