Seriously, why would any by a Rigid for 5x the cost? This light is BRIGHT! I mounted it on my 2011 F250 and boy does it light up the road. So far I have no moisture build up. The construction seems rock solid. I know that Rigid and some other brands use the Baja 1000 as their proving ground for their equipment, but I don't think I will ever approach anything close to that. That would be like saying I need to buy a Panasonic Toughbook laptop only because it can survive a deployment to Afghanistan. If that were the case, we would only purchase Tanks instead of pickups and cars because they are battle proven. You buy what will work for you in the situations you will encounter. This light bar exceeds my expectations and would probably survive the Baja if needbe. I, however, enjoy the added light, and value purchase, on the front of my truck when driving to my ranch. No problems.
