The shape of the pacifier looks fairly natural as there is a slight bulge at the tip which helps to keep the pacifier in place during use. The baby seems to be using it normally, but I notice that he doesn't realize that the nipple is never pinched when he tries to bite. I'm not sure if that's good or bad. On a scale of 1 to 10 I would say the firmness is a 10 of any pacifier I have ever tried. Very solid as I would describe it. But maybe it's good for a baby who's teething. The shape is definitely very nice and looks like a very high quality, expensive pacifier. There are two colors in the set: muted pink and light blue. There is no unpleasant chemical smell, just a pleasant sweet smell. So far I haven't had any major issues with it other than the hard texture, but the kid seems to like it a lot. What I think is missing is the little bag or case that comes with everything else I bought.
