I was glad to receive these hats quickly. We had just replaced old tires with new ones and wanted to make sure we could protect the new ones from the hot hot summer. The sun is in our area. Living temperatures affect your van tires. The mudguards are made of durable vinyl and have a soft inner lining. They have an elastic band that keeps them in place and easy to put on; covers the tires well. On windy days they stay in place. My biggest surprise was when I took them off to use our RV the tires were cool when the outside temp was over 90. The price was great too!
