Review on πŸ”§ Enhance Precision and Efficiency with IGaging Height Woodworking Jointer Router by Todd Cowdrey

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Accurate but a bit difficult to use.

I bought this to adjust the burr height on routers and table saw blades. While this seems perfectly correct, I have the following problems with it: a. The flat handle that is "zero" on the table top for adjusting the height is so far from the measuring piston that it doesn't work on my router. This works for a table saw, but that's about it. b. The buttons for setting zero and units (inches, meters, etc.) are very small, and the on-screen icon is even smaller. It is difficult for a person with thumbs and old eyes to see. The display screen is mounted vertically on the volumetric flask side and cannot be read without rotating the head to the same height as the screen. It is very difficult to read when adjusting the height of the racket with the other hand. All in all I probably should have bought a different model even if it cost more.

Pros
  • Display inches/mm/fractions. Accuracy 0.001"/1". Range: -1/4" to 2"
Cons
  • Crumpled
