I bought this product to use on my motorcycle with my Garmin GPS and helmet headset with FM radio. Garmin has its own FM transmitter, but it's so weak it's useless. With this Scosche transmitter plugged into the GPS headphone jack and the helmet radio tuned to the correct frequency, I can now hear GPS voice directions and all my music, audio books, etc. through my helmet speakers. Although I try to use free frequencies, the device is powerful enough to completely overwhelm any other radio station that might be on my chosen frequency. I am completely satisfied with this product, but I would like to warn users about the very thin connection cable. Lying untouched in the car, it will probably survive just fine, but the motorcycle environment will require my special attention. Also, disconnect this cable from your device's headset jack by pulling on the connector, not the cable itself. It will almost certainly damage it.
