Difficult to use for gifts

Really thoughtful concept but difficult to use (especially for pets) and without instructions (fortunately there is a Revain video). I read the reviews beforehand so I have extras as we will be trying them with our two dogs. It's a big ink pad, so it'll absorb anything that's a bummer. I would recommend masking off the side edges of the paper and the ink pads to keep it in place. Virtually no cleaning and no mess but I wish they worked a little better.
