I ordered L/XL because I knew I have a big head. I wanted something warmer than my Marmot hat and I've always been a fan of the Columbia Omni-Heat. so it seemed like a logical choice. My Marmot hat fits perfectly and is a bit loose. This is tight and has no elasticity. So if you have a big head, you will feel uncomfortable after a while. The color also differs from the picture. I would call it powder blue which is lighter and less vibrant/saturated than what is shown here.
