First question: I measured the original filter but I couldn't find the exact dimensions with my tape measure. I had to take a risk to find the most suitable one. I was lucky I got it right. The second problem: got a slightly bent frame. No big deal, managed to straighten the frame with a little care. Problem 3: The screen bends up when in contact with the fan and makes a grinding noise. It was a more annoying issue that needed fixing. The goal was to pull the mesh down so it would eventually hang off the fan blades. Mission accomplished. Overall the filter works as expected but it should have been a plug n play scenario with a little care in the quality of the design.
