This is a good privacy screen for the price. Even from tight angles and at full screen brightness, the screen blocks out text and images well. At a wide angle, say 60 degrees, the screen looks almost entirely black. It also reduces glare, which my eyes are very thankful for. I've read other reviews that mention it makes the touchscreen less sensitive, but I didn't notice any difference from mine at all. However, I strongly recommend purchasing anti-static wipes when purchasing this product. After installation I had big annoying bubbles so I bought the wipes as the packaging suggested, removed the privacy screen, wiped the screen and backing of the privacy screen, reinstalled and no bubbles! Buying them before you install them saves you the hassle of reinstalling. Additionally, if you have a flat screen, I recommend buying a size slightly larger than your actual screen dimensions simply because it makes installation easier and you don't have light streaks around the edges of a dimmed screen.
