Fits on the suction side of the pump
This model is sealed to prevent air from entering (or escaping) the water system which is important when using it on the suction side of the pump place . Other types with bleed valves let air through, preventing proper priming and causing cavitation in the pump. This model is also stronger and more durable than other similar types I've tried.
