I have seen many other reviews on here claiming this tool is poorly built and not suitable for more than one engine to fit in the palm of your hand. I do not agree. It was assembled fairly well and worked on my other projects, but its downside is the inability to crimp the valves through any significant sidewall. I've used it on a Toyota 1zz engine, the valve springs are slightly recessed in the head and I'm estimating the height above the valve spring retainer to be 1/2 inch. The armature pulls well, but the part that clamps the valve spring retainer collides with the surface of the valve cover gasket. I highly recommend that you examine your head to see how recessed the valves are, otherwise this won't work for you. On other small heads for things like Honda, or even big V8 heads with raised valves, this should work just fine. I hope this review helps you determine if this works for you!
