A good balance of price/quality, recommend it.
Got it as a gift. When backing up, it heats up to about 40 degrees. It behaves strangely when connected via 1 USB: it wound up on an old computer, on a new and powerful one I had to give additional. power supply (via cable included). Sometimes (as I noticed when copying many small files) shamelessly rumbles. And a similar rattling when I picked it up through the USB 3.0 connector. rumbles and rattles, but is not detected in the computer. I don’t know what else to say - I got it for free, it’s normal, but it’s probably better to take WD. He has a Hitachi inside.
- Unusual green. Works. Does not heat up (does not rise above 45 with active use)
- It is not always initialized (you have to give additional power). For some reason, I didn’t want to work on the USB3.0 connector at all (yeah, I understand that the speed will not increase, but there should be backward compatibility). Sometimes it rumbles not like a child, but in general it is quiet and there is not even vibration. There is no cover, but the plastic is easily soiled. well, the heat sink is worse through plastic, if anything .
