I use this bucket with a caravan trailer. Thousand and one application. I used to carry a plastic bucket around with me, but the ways I could use it were limited. I've used this stainless steel bucket for cooking seafood, boiling corn on the cob, heating water for outdoor cookware, transporting water to start a fire, and 997 other things. It's quite expensive but should last a lifetime. Plastic buckets were always lined in such a way that when carrying water, the handle broke. I think the plastic has become brittle from exposure to the sun outside. Like I said, it should last a lifetime unless I run over it or some fool steals it from me.
