Okay - I'll call these two parts the main part (one connects to the CO2 tank) and the other the SodaStream part. Make sure you connect the SodaStream part to the main part. Now connect the main body to the CO2 tank. After assembling it and connecting it to the CO2 tank, make sure the first valve (and the outlet valve) are fully closed. Make sure the screw on top of the SodaStream is wide open. Attach an empty frozen (yes, I said frozen—keep it in the freezer for a day or more) soda bottle. Now unscrew the screw on top of the Sodastream almost all the way (this will push the tip of the screw into the opening of the Sodastream bottle - this will allow the gas to flow in). Now open the valve on the CO2 bottle, then open it slowly , very slowly the valve on the main body (not the outlet valve). You should hear gas rushing into the SodaStream bottle. Viola. When the bottle fizzes (ca On the main body, open the valve on the Sodastream part and unscrew the SodaStream bottle.You can open the vent valve and release residual gas from the main assembly.
