Review on Authentic GM (23463799) Bowtie Emblem: Genuine Quality at its Finest! by Michael Ringgold

Finally got a chance to install it over the weekend. BIG difference and lots of compliments! It's not difficult to install if you know what you're doing. I recommend having trim removal tools and a little patience. FRONT: I saw a review and video here that you don't have to take the entire front and grill off to remove the old emblem. This has been confirmed. Pry up one edge slightly with a credit card and peel off with wire strippers. Literally 5 minutes and no damage. BACK: I forgot to bring my heat gun home from work so I used a regular hair dryer. heated and "sawed off" with a small string. Used a hair dryer to remove the heavy glue residue and then said "Oops!" remove the rest. No damage at all. Washed and rubbed the tailgate and pasted a butterfly. Dead easy. I didn't think it would make such a big difference, but I like them a lot more! Enjoy!
