After using this monitor for about a month (purchased from LG's website), I don't know how I managed to go without it for so long. The brightness level could be increased, but it's pretty good for what I use it for (encoding/reading/connecting an iPad to view notes/YouTube, etc.). I don't even dream of trying to play on this monitor (that's not what they made it for, so I can't give them a bad review for it). If you are a STEM student or related profession, this may be a requirement.
