. This Eikon Mini could not be installed on (3) separate Windows 10 Pro computers at the same time. It was detected by Windows, but when you start a test scan of Windows programs, it ends up failing every time. I would have returned if my 30 day window hadn't already expired. For those looking at other scanners, both of the above are well installed, but in terms of performance, the PQI really excels in its speed and number of scans on the first try. I bought a BIO key thinking a whole finger would be more accurate and maybe it is, but this model often requires multiple scans and often Windows Hello blocks the scan and forces me to enter the PIN after x failed scans /return the password . This works and may be more accurate with a larger scan area, but does not match the scan. Despite its small size, I now use the smallest PQI on my regular desktop and it's by far the best maker of the three, and at $30 it also offers the best value for money, again surprising given its compact size. I will buy two more PQIs for my laptops.
