I just thought the claw clip was a claw clip but they surprised me. The first thing that struck me was that the look of the clips is unique in a good way. I like the soft texture of polycarbonate as opposed to the hard plastics of others. All parts of the clip are the same color so there are no obvious feathers staring at you. In addition, all of the clip's "teeth" are better aligned than traditional claw clips. I feel it makes a huge difference in comfort. In terms of comfort, I found them really good. You notice right away that they don't actually pull your hair. Many times throughout the day I don't feel it there at all. They also do a good job in terms of retention. I have very thin, thin hair and it does the job pretty well. I've had a few days where the hold took forever and a few days where I really had to switch lanes at some point. However, compared to traditional claw clips, they hold my hair much better. They also worked great in children's hair. They also found them comfortable to wear. This is a good price for a good range of 6 different colours!
