Mediocre quality Exterior accessories

I bought two of these. One was slightly bent where the mount was about halfway to the side of the clip. I couldn't bend the hook to straighten it. The second issue is that I had to cut about 1/4 inch off the mounting bracket to make the hole big enough to fit my Ford F-350's mounting points. They worked after the change, but I didn't have to. The retaining clip was very long for what was needed and did not allow it to work in my application.
