I was a bit wary of buying something like this without hearing it first. I've been buying stereos since 1980. This 8" subwoofer has the highest sound value. $111 for it? I couldn't believe it when I heard that. Sounded good when I first connected it to a pair of satellite speakers. After a 20 minute warm up, my jaw dropped in confusion down. It's not my main listening room or anything. This is the middle of the house where I can hear it in multiple rooms. The kitchen sounds a lot better now with the extra bass and the sound is really good for the size of the unit. I hung it on the wall under the bar using the excellent bracket provided.The sound goes well, the bass isn't muddy.My drummer friend was also impressed when he heard it.If you just want something that will hit the house and jarred get a bigger subwoofer if you want something with fidelity and clean punchy bass you will love this I hope this company will be successful because there talented people People work, I'm sure!
