Simple, but well thought out down to the smallest detail! I love GVM lamps and always enjoy buying their products including their great support! This is a square design, ranging from warm white to cool light. The two controls for brightness and color temperature (Kelvin) are good for beginners without many menus. One light is fine, but if you have two of these lights you can get creative with a fill/key light and an edge or background light. The case and two tripods that you get and the power supplies are all nicely packaged. Although I'm showing GVM batteries, which are not included, I recommend buying these batteries as they make them very portable if you're not shooting all day. Barn doors are made from thick plastic and have no problems with direct lighting or "shedding" restrictions. All in all, another excellent lighting from GVM!
