I play [.] Quake and have high hopes for the monitor. I used a Samsung SyncMaster 997df CRT monitor, which I really liked, and was very hesitant to go to LCD due to the 60Hz refresh rate. I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised by the performance of this monitor in game, of course some impressions are not as good as at 120Hz, but it wasn't as bad as I thought since this monitor has a response time of 5ms from a CRT with has 0 response time. . The colors are strong and the monitor is bright. The LED lighting is good. I will not complain about the price of this monitor. I want HP to release an LED backlit LCD monitor with a 120Hz refresh rate. I have no regrets buying this monitor. The monitor is light enough that the monitor wobbles a bit when I move my hands on the desk, but the stand is strong enough. I also save a lot of space on my desktop and it has both a DVI and VGA port. For the $109 I paid for it including shipping, I'm really happy. Money is tight so I'm glad I have a monitor that plays movies and games well for a low price. The native resolution of 1600x900 is fine for me, the model above has a native resolution of 1900 in my opinion, but 1600x900 is fine for me, I have no problem with that, some others may need more.
