I bought two units to work on both sides of my CR-V and they both failed within 30 days. There was a crack on the passenger side but no visible damage on the driver side, all the grease ran onto the rim. I have changed the ball joint on many machines and have never had this problem. I've already sent it in for a warranty exchange so we'll see how it goes. However, I'm still unhappy with the premature failure because it's very labor intensive - the entire steering knuckle has to be removed because it has to be pressed out, which isn't possible on the car itself. I have a Moog top. Ball joints were also installed and now it worries me.
