No grease fitting on steering and suspension tools

Considering the price and brand I was expecting at least one grease fitting as there's no telling how long it will last without lubrication. The first ball joint came with damaged threads but was quickly replaced. If it had an oiler I would give it 5 stars but for the price you can get a cheaper brand with the same imo quality.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Upgradeable

Suitable for 1999 Civic Si

This lower ball joint was pressed in in the workshop and after 1 week it held up great. There was a thud from the left knuckle so I replaced the lower ball joint, wheel hub and CV axle. After the replacement, there was no more sound from that side. The only thing annoying is that the ball joint has no way to add extra lube. UPDATE 7/8/2021: The dust boot broke and now grease is leaking all over the knuckle assembly. 2,000 km driven since installation.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Some small things

Won't buy again

Not sure what's wrong with them. When I received it one of the threaded ball joints was damaged so I had to ride it. Which took less than an hour. And when I then pressed it into the spindle and put it back on the machine, one leaked, no gaps were visible. I keep driving and it's still knocking slightly. I put it back on the lift and see that the other one is also leaking. Not only that, they are about an eighth of an inch up and down. Very disappointed. I hate messing with pressfit ball joints

Good replacement part for OEM

Rebuild 2000 Civic Si front end and one of the parts replaced was the lower ball joint. The Moog part was of good quality and we strongly recommend using these replacement parts. Be sure to check YouTube for information on removing and installing the lower ball joints. With the right tools, all the work becomes much easier. Remember, whenever you are ever replacing a front or rear main body, it is recommended that a camber adjustment be performed as the last step in the process. I recommend…

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

I bought two units to work on both sides of my CR-V and they both failed within 30 days. There was a crack on the passenger side but no visible damage on the driver side, all the grease ran onto the rim. I have changed the ball joint on many machines and have never had this problem. I've already sent it in for a warranty exchange so we'll see how it goes. However, I'm still unhappy with the premature failure because it's very labor intensive - the entire steering knuckle has to be removed…

  • Easy install

  • Can't remember but there was something

Damaged on arrival. saw after pressing fist

I recommend anyone purchasing this product to check the boot for cuts or tears. Putting this in my car, I did it at night thinking with confidence that the new product works and didn't check. I was wrong. The next day when I installed the steering knuckle all the blue grease came out covering my arm and fell to the ground and let me tell you it prevented me from moving the car and around it for a week to figure it out, I had to turn it off. but when checked before removal, there was a…
