Works very well with gelcoat and epoxy paste. This is the first time I have used a PVA type product. Housekeeping was fantastic and easy. Just some soap and water. We were supposed to have a spray nozzle in a bottle, but I found the right one. I've found that a light spray and then a brush to spread the product works really well. I recommend applying it to the surface when it is in a horizontal position until it dries. By keeping the surface level until the product kicks in, our virtual surface is eliminated and it does an amazing job of self-leveling. Resist the temptation to keep brushing the item to try to balance it. Spread it out with a brush and then let it smooth out. It seemed to me that two or three coats would be enough.
