If I get another college degree, I'll take notes like crazy. I thought it would be nice to get this device so I can easily scan my notes and edit them later. Good theory right? Well, the device works, but there are some limitations. 1) You can only move so fast if you scan a line. If you move too quickly, the scanner will miss information entirely or not scan the right words. For example, the word "word" might turn out to be "qred" to me. It ended up taking me twice as long to scan something because I had to double check everything. 2) This thing is insanely sensitive to ambient light. If the room is dark, you need to recalibrate for the dark room. If it's light, you need to calibrate again. If you work with a table lamp in your area. God help you because you will recalibrate yourself every time you move from shadow to light. The device works, but for me it turned out to be more effort than it was worth. I threw it in the box and didn't think about it anymore. I argued that just typing notes by hand would be more beneficial, at least so I could remember the information better and practice my typing skills. I can't wait for this technology to improve, I will be in everything. However, in the form in which it is now. He is not here yet.
