Excellent camera: suitable for both amateurs and advanced users. Highly recommend! Has some pros 1. It is very compact, fits in a jacket pocket, handbag - no need to take a big uncomfortable bag, as for a DSLR. And if you still decide to take a case for it, there is a native Sony LCS-EJA leather case for sale. 2. Easy! One and a half times lighter than, for example, Nikon D5300. Great camera for travel - always with you and does not stretch your neck :)) 3. The shape of the camera is comfortably held in the hand, does not slip, unlike, for example, the same Fuji XT10 or Canon EOS M3 (I brought mirrorless cameras with a similar size matrix and a similar price for comparison) 4. It has an interchangeable lens. For people who are more passionate about photography, this is a huge plus. And for a beginner, there is room to grow. Having mastered the camera, try to try on it instead of your native 16-50, for example, a portrait lens 50 F1.8 or a width of 10-18 F4, and you will see new opportunities for shooting ! 5. Excellent tracking autofocus. Capturing a snowboarding friend or a dog running towards you is no problem! Set continuous shooting (by the way, 11 fps - few people can shoot as fast) and AF-C mode - and you will succeed! The 179 AF points are positioned to cover the entire frame, unlike many DSLRs where they cluster in the center of the frame so the subject is in focus wherever it is! 6. The flash folds back! That is, you can direct it upwards, so it will not blind the person being photographed, it will not light up the frame. 7. For manual focusing, there is focus peaking (on the screen, places that fall into the sharpness zone will be underlined with colored lines) - a very convenient thing! 8. Very decent video quality - at the level of a good expensive video camera. Has cons: 1. The screen could also be made touch-sensitive - like the younger model Sony A5100, and it is also not capable of turning 180 degrees, like the same A5100. 2. The wi-fi control is defective: in fact, only the shutter button, and it only shoots in jpeg format. 3. Too much noise reduction in jpeg, it is better not to shoot at high ISO values, or then shoot in RAW, but this is only suitable for experienced users. As an alternative, use the multi-frame noise reduction function, then the result will be better.
