There is no way to fix the legs in a vertical position when moving the tree, they fold in; Nut doesn't work.

As this was one of the only metal tree stands with wheels I figured it would hold my 7 foot tree securely. Unfortunately, the hole for the thumbscrew that holds the tree didn't line up with the hole in the inner sleeve, making it impossible to tighten the tree trunk in the stand. It was advertised as being foldable for storage, but the advertisement failed to mention that it was not possible to keep the legs vertical when moving the artificial tree. My Christmas tree is lying on the ground with many broken, treasured, irreplaceable ornaments. If there were zero stars I would choose it. This product is absolutely unacceptable.
