The vise broke on the first try. It came off completely where it attaches to the table. Poor quality metal was used in the casting. Poorly made. Poor design - it needs a more competent support member. The engineers who designed this clamp should be fired. If you can apply too much torque when attaching it to the bench, then obviously they haven't done any calculations. F+ for design, assembly, metallurgy and destroying Bessie's reputation.
