Nice price, good quality.

Great device for training. You need it if you are training. This is not a smart watch. I do not set up notifications, nor music (by the way, unlike the Garmin 945 and 955, there is no storage in the watch), nor NFC (it is not here). Sad that the presence of a barometric sensor, the watch does not show the pressure. And this is important in the mountains for predicting the weather. There is no storm warning, although the watch, unlike the Vantage, is positioned as outdoor. Maybe the ates will fix this and the pressure has appeared at least in pascals, and we will somehow translate it from "C" to "mm" =).

Pros

After the Polar V800, this is a breakthrough, of course. Watches have a lot more pros than cons. This is clear. 1) Economical work in training mode with high positioning accuracy and heart rate reading both from the optics and from the chest sensor. The battery life is really very close to the declared in the warm season. 2) Very fast search for satellites and a chest sensor. He quickly realizes that you and the zhps entered the room, when you exit they pick up the signal. Never lost satellites in three months 3) Custom screens, workout tips, sleep and activity tracking. The polar flow app itself is the most excellent professional level tools (as far as the watch can track it professionally). If you want a guided workout device (I love that one!) the watch is for you. 4) Accurate pedometer. Suunto and Garmin are resting. Even on the V800 in the arena without zhps, the watch gave an error of up to 10 m per kilometer, taking into account hairpin turns 5) Various tests. I constantly used orthostatic, fitness (determines VO2max and quite accurately, judging by the running test), running tests - everything is considered quite correctly. 6) bracelet, case, sapphire display - everything is very well made 7) It counts the pools correctly, determines the style, SWOLF, takes the pulse data from the wrist quite correctly! (Unexpected). Works in water with chest sensors via Jim-link (only this signal breaks through the water column). 8) Loads the track quickly, drives well, but sometimes says that the direction is wrong if you move back and forth in one way. Draws a route profile and shows where you are. Knows how to lead home along the route traveled (not loaded in advance, namely the route traveled. That is, you will not get lost).

Cons

1) Like it or not in the cold, even under a thin jacket, the battery runs out much faster. -12, covered with a thin windproof layer, put on a fleece for every hour -10%. Definitely need to hide in the heat! The miracle did not happen and the battery is not like in an irridium tracker, for example, which can be thrown into the snow and it will not sit down. 2) Unlike Harmins, this watch CANNOT be charged while exercising. Just finished the session. This is true if you are doing a long session or skiing/cycling/walking/jogging in the winter when the battery runs out faster. 3) I owned a V800 and then they removed a couple of good features. Such a downgrade: a) it is impossible to set up autopause during training (add, change, remove). Sometimes it matters. When you start a standard workout at a race, and you don’t need autopauses and you realize that part of the distance has already been recorded, interrupting it is not an option and you have to put up with what you have. b) Removed Heart Touch - when you bring the watch to the chest sensor and see the selected mode (for example, time of day). 4) Dumb sensor. Works like on old mobile phones, but works =). For fans of smart watches, this will be a disaster). Athletes don't care 5) In the shower, you need to block the screen, otherwise running drops cause false touches and the clock switches screens. But, since the screen is not super sensitive, you won’t get far through the menu). 6) I am often in the mountains and I need a) barometric pressure b) preferably a storm warning. Koros and Suunto have it, but not here. Baro 9 worked very well with the storm warning 4 out of 5 times - it helped us a lot. 7) You can not put points on the route and they are not visible on the track.
