This coat fits my 3 year old 14 lb Doxie mix perfectly. I was a bit concerned because his body is a bit long so I wasn't sure if it would cover his whole back. But don't worry, everything is fine, he can run and jump around like the crazy little dude he is without cramping or sliding sideways. He doesn't like the rubber bands that should go around his hind legs so we don't use them and the fur is still in place. He doesn't mind minding his own business, which is good because that would be a deal killer. taking care of everything else - again no problem, it's so easy to put on, not mess around, he just walked around with it. We are very lucky, the winters here are very cold and snowy, which is wonderful.
