Review on MOSTPLUS Schebler Carburetor Replaces 8N9510C HD by Prince Burr

I read a few reviews saying it doesn't work and can't be adjusted but bought it anyway given the price. You were right. With factory settings 8n starts and works fine, no problems. Anything over 1/3 throttle and you'll get a lean hit. There are only two ways to fix this. 1. Pull the throttle to enrich it. 2. On the way, completely unscrew the main screw of the mixture from the carburetor (so it does not start) I disassembled it, cleaned everything, no change. I decided to combine the new top with the old bottom, it seems to work. On the contrary, the same problem. I ended up just disassembling the new carburetor to build parts to rebuild the old one. It worked well. Float, seal, needle, etc. are swapped. I guess since I essentially got a complete rebuild kit as a result of the deal I'm not overly upset, but others probably won't be so optimistic and willing to spend a few hours on the work I put in to figure out how to make everything work.
