The headphones put a lot of pressure on the ears and cause pain in the lower neck

My 7 year old daughter complains of pain in the lower neck and ears from squeezing the headphones so hard. She is shorter than the average 7 year old, around 40 pounds. When I put her to bed she doesn't like me touching her ears or her neck because it hurts. I wouldn't buy them if I knew what I know now. Yes, glowing ears are adorable, but it's not worth the pain.
