My new 13-inch MacBook Pro tends to get hot when I'm doing a lot of things at once, so a stand was suggested. I needed something more ergonomic and found this. On the bottom rung it's perfect for typing, and I think raising it up for video calls is a good idea. A big plus is that it can be folded and carried around. The anti-slip pads on the top and bottom keep it stable and also protect my laptop and desk. I couldn't be happier with this purchase.
