Freebies at the hotel last better than that.
The elastic was uncomfortable but I tolerated it as it kept my hair dry when I showered 2-3 times a week. Although it was always dried out of the tub, it quickly became foul smelling and musty. Machine washing/air drying didn't improve the situation so unfortunately it ended up in the trash. My complimentary hotel shower cap lasted much longer with no issues.
