I've only been using this for two days, but it's far more comfortable and useful than my last lap table, which was padded with tiny balls of foam. The padding in this device is firm but very comfortable. I like the cutout for a phone or tablet. I can use my 13" laptop and have enough room for my phone to place it sideways in the cutout so I can stream video/TV to my phone while using my laptop for work. The material on the top of this table isn't that slippery, but when I use it at an angle, my laptop starts to slide off. The small ledge on the bottom is big enough to prevent a smaller laptop from sliding off, but I believe a 15 inch laptop could have enough weight to slide off the bottom. So I would say that this laptop is best for smaller laptops, like 13/14 inch or smaller.
