Not worth extra cost for thicker pad.
Ordered the 2.2" pillow first and thought thicker would be better, ordered the 3.14" at a higher price and they seem to be the identical pillow. If you buy this, save your money and just order the less expensive one, the difference, if any is hard to distinguish.

- The cushion may be too soft for some users
