Works well, But take your time

I was a bit worried since a few reviews on here say its see through or it doesn't stick well. Well those reviews are BS. They're either lying or didn't bother to apply it right. It does require a bit of effort to apply this. They aren't kidding when they say to soak both the window and the film. If you don't, the film will stick to the window like tape. When both are wet the film is easy to adjust and move, or even remove to get a better angle. Once you apply it make sure to use the squeegee they provide to push out any air bubbles. You'll have to do this several times for a couple days. Like I said, good things require a little effort. It's also completely opaque. I tried looking through it on both sides during the day and night. I couldn't see anything. I even used my 1000 Lumen surefire flashlight to find if any light can get through. The best I could see was just the LED lens of the flashlight with a red tint. Most household lights don't produce 1000 lumens, since its completely blinding. If that's the best I could see then I think I can trust this stuff.I trust it well enough that I'm currently using it for a large bay window in my bedroom. I don't have any curtains or shades anymore. The only problem is that now I really need to rely on clocks since I can't tell if it's day or night at all.

Pros
  • This film can be easily removed without damaging your window or leaving any residue
Cons
  • May affect the window's ability to open and close properly
