Review on 150 Amp Welding Leads Assembly by William Auditore

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Worth the price but had some issues.

16+ year professional manufacturer. I have seen many welding products. I always check the joints of new welders, they have to be very strong with anti-corrosion gel. They become weaker and weaker at work over time. That being said, it's worth buying and arriving sooner than expected. but be careful. The cable is good. grounding is good. The pin headers were made of high quality brass and can match the car well. Nice and tight. However, the electrode holder was of poor quality. The screw that clamps the connection cable has not been tightened enough. After tightening it, he immediately tore off the bronze body of the holder. Other similar electrode holders have a much larger fine pitch socket head screw, but this one had a smaller diameter coarse thread screw with a minimal thread depth so it broke off. I'll try to drill and cut a larger screw later, but that's very inconvenient if it's needed at work the same day. As I said, it's worth buying, but you can also order cables, connectors and high-quality electrode holders and assemble them yourself if you value quality or will be using it professionally.

Pros
  • RATING: 150A at 60% duty cycle. ***Please check the maximum amperage rating of your welder and find a cord assembly that meets or exceeds that amperage***
Cons
  • Not all will fit
