Review on Kayak Bestway Hydro-Force Ventura 280 cm, turquoise/black by Janis Cerins ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I am delighted, the product is really worthy.

This is my first kayak, I took it like others without reviews. I was surprised to find that now there are reviews, I thought I would be the first. I watched the video review with automatic translation from English, where a guy and a girl rafted on this. In reality, there is little information about this model. I will definitely buy another smaller single paddle for the child in front. It is possible for adults to swim together, but it is difficult and uncomfortable.

Pros
  • Took for fishing. I tried it in action. Good quality fabric that covers unlike other inflatable boats made of rubber (or pvc). I swam a total of 5 km to the reservoir. I cast a spinning rod, carried an echo sounder to measure the depth. One wobbler with two hooks fell into a triangle, behind a mesh bag, of course, I didn’t panic so sickly - the wobbler caught on the hooks, I think - well, that’s it, they sailed. Swim 30 meters to the shore and drag the kayak behind you. But it turned out to be nothing like that, the wobbler caught on the fabric and I carefully pulled it back without punctures. I was afraid that there would be no bag (not indicated anywhere), there is a bag, it clings comfortably forward or backward, as it is more convenient. By weight, it lifts 130 kg, but we tested two people of 70 each (140 kg in total) and the kayak sank quite a bit, but swam perfectly. Separately, I note that the paddle floats. The middle part is sealed (air inside), the blade is fastened by a clamping latch and water is not a hindrance to it, nothing will rust. Very cool maneuverability, you can reach speeds higher than a conventional inflatable boat. There are a lot of places in length, you can even lie down. My son lay down on me for 10 years, I leaned back. The back seems to be flimsy, but it withstood us, admired with the stars. There is a valve inside the bottom at the front. I understand self-draining? Or just to make it more convenient to drain the water later, until I figured it out.
Cons
  • I took it for 21 thousand two weeks ago, now it's 28. It blows away quickly enough with the current and the wind, mind you. Not a very stable boat, standing up is unlikely to stand. If you row with a child, then the oar is short (the child was sitting at the feet) and it turns out that you are completely in the water due to the water draining along the oar inward. I solved the problem simply by making a single paddle and sailing like on a SUP board. If you sit in the middle and alone, then this problem should not be. If you sit at the very end, then sometimes you can rub your elbows on the fabric. The kayak doesn't have a bag. I put it in two ikea bags (tape) and carried them in the car. Now I bought a bag for 2 thousand for 60 liters of a shoulder bag for boats, I plan to carry it in it.
