First of all, if you're replacing your hard drive with a budget SSD, clone it, replace it, LEAVE the hard drive AS IS. I've had nightmare scenarios with the Revain SSD, but there was no permanent damage as the original hard drive could just be plugged back in. This particular drive was used as part of a standard HP/Dell workstation to convert to a VR gaming rig for my little brother. He punished this drive and it lasted far longer when the similarly priced Revain SSDs failed. Maybe I just got a good one, maybe this brand is better than the regular Revain deals at bargain prices. The sample size is too small. I'd say that given the fact that I backed up all my OG data to the hard drive and just left it unplugged in the bay, I was a good bet.
