I wish I had bought this a few months ago when he started his bike restoration projects. Forget hitting metal with a rubber mallet or boards to protect the bottom bracket. This thing is going to put a lot of pressure on the head or the bottom bracket. I don't even use cups of different sizes. I flipped it so the largest surface area is all I use to press an old-school bottom bracket or top brace.
