Hard to find information on safe use and safety issues

Product received exactly as advertised. After installation, the first run was a 2 gallon still. Tap water. However, with the first distillation of corn mash, the bottom begins to swell unevenly 1-2 minutes after the start of heating. I use a single burner Gourmet burner from Elite.
