You need to drill a hole for the mount, remove the metal washer and drill four mounting holes at the very top of the mount. Wrap aluminum foil and flexible tape around the frame at the mounting point and use cable ties through the drilled mounting holes to secure the bracket to the frame. Then take your 900 pound paracord and start braiding it through the zip ties to secure it firmly in the soft aluminum case. If you don't know how to do it, you'll never get the braces to work, so keep that in mind. It sucks how it comes. The bracket system that comes with this item is totally useless, it will hit your legs and slip. The rubber gasket will crack and the dumb nylon strap will be too slippery on the metal. Your old plastic clips were much better but I couldn't find them.
