We have been heavy users of the thermos for over two years, and put it through its paces on every trip, at home (where we brew wild rose), and on the road. Appearance-wise, everything was OK; the fly didn't land on it, and the only change was a slight darkening of the inner rubber band on the lid of the thermos (to be expected; the coffee and rose hips were colored). The thermos in my car always flies around loose, so I was worried the handle might break off when I bought it. The outcome was perfect: the handle suffered no damage during testing and proved to be exceptionally sturdy. We drink the rosehip infusion both hot and warm for multiple days, so it should keep for at least two days. I think you'll find the thermos to be very durable.
