In the end it's not worth it
I bought this so my cat and dog wouldn't lie on the couch. It works, but for $18 when my cat first encountered this blanket. Yes, it broke so easily! I understand she's a cat but gosh for almost $20 I wasn't expecting her to be ripped up so easily, within the first 20 seconds my cat jumped up then tried to run away. I think I was hoping for a slightly better or maybe more pet resistant material. I still use it because it really works, but yeah, just something to keep in mind.
