The suction cup on the original mount cracked and fell apart so I bought this as a replacement. Pros: The suction cup is strong and secure and seems to last a long time. The bad: The original had a threaded yoke that tightened around the mount ball that held the mount in place — this one has just one ball that locks in place. Hit a bump and the GPS flops. It might work if you set it low enough for the floor to rest on the dash, but otherwise it's too loose. The original had the ability to lock the PSU onto the mount and hold it securely in place. This one just leaves the power cord with the plug in place, which isn't very secure.
