Don't forget that it stretches a little. It's not the loss of air that's to blame.
This mattress performed as expected and the pump inflated it fairly quickly. I was aware of the initial stretch and took that into account. So I wasn't surprised that the next morning I felt like he was out of breath. I don't think it was. I think he just stretched. The only reason I didn't give that five stars is because it still feels too flimsy. When two people sleep on the same mattress, it can sometimes be easy for them to fall to the floor, even if they appear to be well inflated. But we're glad to have it and will use it while we have it.
